This was a project to create additional living space for our client, keeping any work to balance and compliment the existing building.
We called upon the services of a local architect and working alongside them and the client to design an extension that fulfilled the brief within the clients budget.
The construction used handmade bricks and flint blocks, the roof was covered with hand made tiles and used timber framed windows.
Due to the slope of the roof design it required large steel supports. We were able to, with the help of the structural engineer, hide these within the fabric of the building.
